Tonight's win against the Cards clinched the best record in baseball for your Chicago Cubs. For the first time since 1945, the Cubs will finish with the best record in both the AL and NL. The Cubs also won the most games at Wrigley in a season (57). The previous record was 56 from 19

Now that we know the Cubs have home field advantage, we will be tracking the Wild Card race to see who we will face on the NLDS. Once the playoffs start, watch for a new magic number!
