25

Mike Montgomery returned from the DL and went 4 and a third but gave up four runs as well.  Which at the time put the Cubs down 4-3, However Tommy "3AM" La Stella hit his first homer of the season with a man on to give the Cubs a 5-4 lead and the bullpen took care of the rest allowing 0 hits.  Willson Contreras also drove in a couple, hopefully his offense will be jump started.  Pedro Strop came in and secured his 11th save in 15 chances.  The Cubs will now head to Philly.

The bullpen allowed one hit, a single to Camargo.

Yeah, Chavez gave up that screecher by his head! More importantly, they gave up 0 runs.

Could you include the number of games remaining to your post? Is there a home field advantage magic number this year? Maybe that could also be included as well. This smells a lot like 2016 including the Indians!

Lot of games left to be worrying about home field but if you like to figure it out it would be the same formula 163-cubs wins- the division opponent with the best rank losses. so that would be atlanta so that would be 25 as well. But its all contengent on us winning our division as well
