18

Holy cow! The comeback Cubs beat the Nats in DC on Thursday behind a solid start from Hendricks (5 IP, 6 K, 1 ER), 2 RBI apiece from Zobrist & Rizzo, and more late inning magic from David Bote.

Bote's RBI double in the 10th scored Almora, and Davis's single scored Bote, moving the NL-best Cubs 4.5 games up in the Central. That's Cub.

Any combination of 18 more wins by the NL-best Cubs and/or losses by their NL Central rival with the fewest losses (currently MIL & STL, each with 62) would give the Cubs their third consecutive NL Central Division title.

140 regular season games down, 22 to go.

Go Cubs go!

Cubs need that Brew sweep in Wrigley. Hope the cards lose 3-4 in the next 8-10 and I think we'll be in good shape for final 10 games.

It only seems like 160 after stressful games like tonight's! Great win!

Go Cubs go!
