Holy cow! The Comeback Cubs did it again on Thursday in DC, scoring three in the ninth to beat the Nationals 5-4.

Jon Lester tossed a quality start (6 IP, 7 K, 1 ER), but the real fireworks took place in the top of the ninth.  With one out, Candelario (who'd hit his 1st career HR in his previous AB) was hit by a pitch. He was forced by Caratini, who advanced to 2nd on defensive indifference.  With two outs, Javy singled, LaStella singled and drove in Caratini, and Jon Jay had the big blow with a two-run double to put the Cubbies on top for good.

The win gave the Cubs a series split with Washington.  They head to Cincy to start a three-game series on Friday.
