Holy cow! The Cubs offense went off on Tuesday night in New York, downing the Mets 14-3 behind five home runs and a dominant start by Jon Lester (7 IP, 1 ER, 10 K).

Joe Maddon had Anthony Rizzo bat leadoff for the first time in Riz's career, and it immediately paid off, as Tony hit a leadoff homer. That set the tone for the game, as Javy, Happ, KB, and J-Hey each homered; Happ's was a grand slam to put the Cubs up by 6 in the 2nd.

The series wraps up Wednesday night, before the Cubs head to Pittsburgh for a three-game weekend set.

Go Cubs go!
