The Cubs were able to hold off the Brewers and avoid the sweep as they won 6-4 behind six and two thirds IP by Jose Quintana.  The offense put up four runs in the fourth and then added a couple much needed runs later after Curtis Granderson hit a pinch hit two run home run for his first as a Brewer.  Pedro Strop gave up a leadoff walk and a single to start the bottom of the ninth but then retired the next three to seal the win.  It was his 12th save in 16 chances and allowed the Cubs to go back to a four game lead in the division.
